Pantai Maju (Moving Foward Beach) and Pantai Kita (Our Beach) in Kamal Muara Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta will be developed with the concept of sportainment.
Our target is to conduct a groundbreaking this year
PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) President Director, Widi Amanasto said it is according to Gubernatorial Regulation number 152/2018 on the Assignment to PT Jakarta Propertindo in the Management and Development of Land Reclamation Resulting from the North Coast of Jakarta. One of these regulations regulates the management of Public Infrastructure, Facilities, and Utilities (PSU) and the management of 20 hectares of contribution land in the area.
"Besides combining the sports industry with entertainment, the area will be developed with collaboration and economic empowerment of the residents," he expressed, Tuesday (2/22).
Governor Appreciates Community Collaboration in Naming Public Facilities at Pantai Kita and Pantai MajuHe said the Pantai Maju already has the 30-kilometer healthy walking and bike tracks (Jalasena). For future development, he is still exploring cooperation with PT KMI from Agung Sedayu.
The sportainment itself is also meant by holding various sporting events on land and water.
"Hope the Jalasena can be an alternative to Jakmori (Jakarta Monday Ride) cyclists," he said.
Asset Development Director for PT Jakpro, Gunung Kartiko added he had prepared a development concept for the next two years. Especially for the development of contribution land as wide as 20 hectares on Pantai Kita, it would be used as a fresh market.
It would become an all-fish hawker center (Pujaseri) combined with a fish-selling location. To support it, it would involve local MSMEs.
"We're going to make a seafood restaurant, but it's like a fresh market. For the fish, we will get it from local fishermen," he explained.
He added the fresh market development process is currently waiting for the administrative process to be handed over from the previous manager to the Jakarta administration. Afterward, the facility construction process would begin and would not involve the budget from Regional Capital Investment (PMD).
"We are working with external parties, what form it will take, we are still working on it. Our target is to conduct a groundbreaking this year," he said.
